Name after the Godfather actor (old Abe is still the default wiki search), Abe Vigoda are another graduate of L.A's venue de jour The Smell, although the foursome originally hail from the neighbouring city of Chino. Formed in 2004 and touting themselves with the very apt discription of tropical punks, the band released debut Sky Route/Star Roof on No Age drummer Dean Spunt's Post Present Medium label in 2006. Kid City quickly followed before album number three Skeleton uped the bands profile significantly in 2008 and saw them sign to Bella Union in Europe. Early '09's Reviver EP proved an absolute belter too.
