One of the most thrilling live acts going, Canary Islander Pablo Díaz-Reixa proved he was no slouch on record either with the release of his wildly triumphant debut effort Alegranza. Released on home soil in late 2007 and in the United States in early '08, it edged its way over to the UK and Ireland through the Young Turks imprint later in the year. Díaz-Reixa pleased the growing masses in each territory with the best one-man show around in between.
