Raised in the Lake District market town of Kendall, Leeds-based quartet Wild Beasts have gradually eased their way into prime position as one of the UK's best and most interesting bands since releasing their debut single 'Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants' on the local Bad Sneakers label in late 2006. The band followed up with 'Through The Night' in April 2007 by which time they had signed to Domino Records. A couple more singles later, the Tore Johansson-produced (Franz Ferdinand, Cardigans) full debut Limbo Panto was released to much applause in the summer of 2008. Wild Beasts second album Two Dancers - a change in tone but a serious step up - quickly emerged little over a year later.
