Long time friends, two of them brothers and all of them men Chris Reimer (guitar, vocals), Mike Wallace (drums), and brothers Pat (guitar, vocals) and Matt Flegel (bass, vocals) formed Women in Alberta, Canada in 2007. Signed to local label Flemish Eye, the band employed the production services of label mate and all-round musical maestro Chad VanGaalen for their self-titled debut, released in Canada in early 2008. It received a US release later that year and came out in Europe in January 2009.
