Video: Esben and The Witch - Warpath
Much-hyped 'nightmare pop' trio Esben and The Witch seem determined to get under our skin with their videos as well as with their menacing, goth-tinged music. The new promo for 'Warpath', a track taken from the Brighton band's eagerly-awaited debut album Violet Cries, stars the band as cobweb-covered witnesses to a sinister pursuit, and carries the same dark undertones as the black-and-blue video for recent single 'Marching Song'. Seriously, there isn't a kitten in sight here, folks!
Violet Cries is released via Matador Records on January 31, the same day the BBC Sound Of 2011-shortlisted band are set to begin their largest UK and European tour to date. Go here for a full list of tour dates after you've watched the creepy vid below.
