Win Tickets to See Miracle Fortress in Dublin This Sunday!
Was I The Wave?, the second LP from one-man Canadian pop outfit Miracle Fortress, dropped earlier this week in this part of the world via Republic of Music. It's the follow-up to 2007's Polaris Prize-nominated Five Roses LP, and sees Graham Van Pelt further refining his intricate production aesthetic across ten tracks of pristinely stitched-together indie pop.
To coincide with the album's European release, Montreal native Van Pelt is embarking upon a brief tour, stopping off at Dublin's Crawdaddy this coming Sunday (September 11) and Madame JoJo's in London next Tuesday night (September 13). Since it's Friday and we're in a generous mood, we've got not just one, but TWO pairs of tickets for the Dublin date to give away, courtesy of promoters POD. All you have to do to stand a chance of winning a pair is email paulharrington@raggedwords.com (putting Miracle Fortress in the subject line) with the correct answer to the following question:
Judging by the tour diary-themed video below for album track 'Miscalculations', what is Miracle Fortress' favourite sport?
You've got until 5pm on Sunday to enter, at which point two lucky winners will be selected at random. Best of luck!
